Custom agtech ERP system to streamline business operations processes across farms, manage inventories, customers, orders & finance.
Solving for Zero Hunger and more.
Every project that we take up is aligned to one or more of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
How we did it.
We imagined & designed this software product to be a bridge between the harvest life cycle and the actual sale of goods through various offline and online channels.
This bridge would allow the farm supervisors to manage all inventories, including the produce from the farm and non-living items, and act as an advanced stock management system that would automatically generate a rich product catalog fully integrated to the existing crops tracked through the Farm Management System we previously built for them.
Point 1
We started from a blank page.
Point 2
We created over 100 APIs.
Point 3
We developed a native iOS application.

The impact it had.
A good open-source third-party ERP system such as Odoo is usually amazing in the short term as it does give you a way to achieve your preliminary goals efficiently but as you grow, and especially in the case of a technology-dependant company, you end up facing major walls to scale your operations. You’ll need to tweak a ready-to-use framework with no control over the code nor the actual structure of the data and invest a lot of time in moulding the software to do what you need at a bigger scale.
The choice Champerché made to build their own ERP has come with undeniable positive impacts over the long term. Specifically but not limited to, the proprietary technology has allowed Champerché to (1) have unlimited capabilities of recreating or modifying workflows as necessary (2) add functionalities, components and even products in a way they can control entirely (3) remove total dependency on the externality for support (4) drastically reduce the time required in managing day–to-day operations (5) contribute majorly to the financial valuation of their company with a valuable intellectual property over the software itself.
